Jennifer K. Whittaker, PhD, OTR/L, CPH, CHES®, was named Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in occupational therapy at The ²ü¶¶Ð¡ÃÛÌÒ. She also earned both a Master of Science in health studies with an emphasis in community and population health and a Ph.D. in occupational therapy from Texas Womans’ University where she was a teaching fellow and earned the distinction of Virginia Chandler Dykes Scholar. She was previously a part-time faculty member in both The ²ü¶¶Ð¡ÃÛÌÒ’s Occupational Therapy and Health and Human Performance Departments, where she taught occupational therapy and health promotion courses. She is the University’s PILLAR Program Coordinator. She is nationally certified in public health and health education and is a clinical occupational therapist at Allied Services Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Scranton.
